Description

• We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Engineer Mechanical Planner to join our team at Dangote Cement Plc, Obajana.
• In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance activities for mechanical equipment in our cement production facilities.
• You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure that all planned activities are executed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the mechanical maintenance plan for the cement production facilities.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team to schedule and prioritize maintenance activities.
• Ensure that all maintenance activities adhere to safety and quality standards.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify potential issues and recommend preventive measures.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Prepare reports and communicate maintenance schedules to stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in mechanical maintenance planning.
• Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance team.
• Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 9 to 11 years of experience in mechanical maintenance planning, preferably in the cement industry.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance planning principles and techniques.
• Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and planning software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
