Role Overview

• This six-month internship will primarily focus on SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), aiming to develop foundational data engineering skills.
• Interns will engage in building and enhancing data pipelines that are aligned with our business objectives.
• This role is suited for individuals eager to begin their career in data engineering, offering a supportive environment to learn and grow.

Learning Opportunities

• Direct exposure to Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL DB.
• Hands-on experience with data integration and transformation in a cloud environment, using tools like Google Big Query and Looker.
• Collaborative work with experienced data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders.
• Introduction to Python and other data engineering tools.
• Potential conversion of the internship into a permanent Trainee Data Engineer position, based on performance.
• Hybrid work model and flexible hours to promote a balanced work and learning environment.

Requirements

• Strong interest in data engineering and a proactive approach to learning in a professional
  setting.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and familiarity with programming languages like Python.
• Enrollment in or recent graduation from a program in Computer Science, Engineering or any related field, demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• A passion for leveraging technology to innovate within the financial sector
