Job Description

• As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for managing all financial transactions and providing accurate financial information to support the organization's operations.
• Your role will involve monitoring financial data, preparing financial statements, analyzing trends, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend strategies to mitigate financial risks
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
• Assist in the coordination of external audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and best practices.
• Review and reconcile bank statements on a regular basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (ICAN or ACCA certification is a plus).
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations (GAAP).
• Proficiency in using accounting software (Zoho, QuickBooks or similar).
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Excel.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
