Job Title: Magento Developer

Responsibilities
Magento Development:

• Develop and customize Magento-based e-commerce websites, modules, themes, and extensions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and designers, to gather requirements and implement custom functionality.
• Write clean, efficient, and scalable code using Magento best practices.

Front-end Development:

• Implement responsive and user-friendly front-end designs using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimal performance on desktop and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX designs into functional web interfaces.

Integration and Customization:

• Integrate Magento with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and CRM systems.
• Customize Magento's core functionality and develop custom modules to meet specific business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues related to integrations and customizations.

Performance Optimization and Scalability:

• Optimize website performance, including page load times, caching, database queries, and server configuration.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and scalability issues to ensure smooth and efficient website operations.

Testing and Quality Assurance:

• Write and execute comprehensive unit tests to ensure the stability and reliability of the Magento applications.
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during the testing phase.

Documentation and Technical Support:

• Document codebase, technical specifications, and customizations to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to resolve issues reported by users or internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Magento development, with a focus on e-commerce websites.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Magento's architecture, customization techniques, and module development.
• Experience with telecom-specific e-commerce requirements, such as subscription management and telecom product catalog integration, is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
• Solid understanding of front-end development principles, including responsive design and performance optimization.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
