We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Account

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• To ensure proper financial reporting. Keeping and tracking correct financial records of the company.
• Preparation of management accounts and other relevant reports. Prepare balance sheet, journal entries and bank account reconciliation.
• Facilitates disbursements on all leases and investment deals. Ensure that all deals are recorded and updated as required. Maintain reports on the lease, investment and other portfolios.
• Lead the process to receive all lease payments, other payments (receivables). Ensure that all client and vendor payments (payables) are planned for and executed as required.
• Monitor the entire cashflow of the business (working with other team members). Ensure proper cash// fund// portfolio management.
• Support the audit process and ensure that financial reports are obtained as required.
• Handle tax engagements (process payments and returns), HMOs, payroll and other staff related payments. Preparation of Budgets.
• Having worked in a similar environment, facilitate correct reporting and tracking of all lease payments and income (finance leases // operating leases) as well as income from other investment deals.

Key Requirements

• Qualifications: A B.Sc. Degree in Accounting (Minimum of 2:2 qualification)
• Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar role working in a leasing companies or a financial services companies.
• Knowledge of leasing /asset financing, credit administration, and general investments will be an added advantage.
• Skills: High proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Candidate must be presentable and possess excellent communication skills.
