The Jigawa State College of Education and Legal Studies, established in 1992, is a State-government higher education institution located in Ringim, Jigawa State, Nigeria.

Job Title: Bursar

Location: Ringim, Jigawa

Responsibilities

• The Bursar is a Principal officer and Chief Financial Officer of the College responsible to the Provost for day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the College.

Qalifications

• A minimum of Second-Class Lower Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Possession of relevant higher degree(s) is an added advantage:
• Be registered with recognized professional body such as ICAN or ANAN;
• Be ICT compliant with a working knowledge of relevant accounting packages;
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate post-qualification experience, ten (10) of which should be in the Bursary of a College of Education or Polytechnic system or that of comparable institution of higher learning:
• Shall not be more than sixty (60) years of age on assumption of duty.
