We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Cook (Live-in)

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Plan weekly menus in consultation with the household members, taking into account dietary preferences, allergies, and special occasions.
• Proficiency in preparing Nigerian dishes is highly desired.
• Prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals according to the agreed-upon schedule.
• Source ingredients from local markets and suppliers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items and regular cleaning of cooking utensils and equipment.
• Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines at all times.
• Accommodate special dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and other restrictions.
• Collaborate with other household staff members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.
• Occasional assistance with meal service and table setting may be required.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an SSCE qualification with 2-10 years experience.
  Proven experience as a Cook, preferably in a private household or upscale establishment.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment.
• Ability to plan menus and execute meals with creativity and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to accommodate changing schedules and last-minute requests.
• Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to meet the needs of the household.

Salary
N80,000 - N150,000 / Month.
