We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Aba, Abia
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets and income statements.
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings.
• Reconcile bank statements and identify discrepancies.
• Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
• Analyze financial data and prepare budgets and forecasts.
• Report on the company's financial health and liquidity.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records according to accounting principles.
• Comply with all relevant financial policies and regulations.
• Stay informed about current accounting standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• ICAN certificate with 2- 4years of experience.
• Proficient in accounting software (e.g. QuickBooks).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
