• As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with established accounting procedures.
• The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and able to work comfortably with numbers with great attention to detail.

Principal Duties / Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Collaborate with HR to execute flawless payroll processes, guaranteeing timely and accurate compensation for our valued team members.
• Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate calculations.
• Monitor and analyze expenses, providing insights that empower decision-making and resource allocation for optimized business performance.
• Help with the preparation of tax returns and other compliance requirements.
• Work closely with HR, operations, and management teams to understand financial implications, contributing your insights to collaborative projects.
• Collaborate with the team to improve accounting processes and procedures.
• Stay abreast of financial regulations and ensure the firm's adherence, fostering a compliant and ethical financial environment.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (ACA or ACCA) is a plus but not required.
• 1 - 2 years proven experience as an accountant.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.

Salary
N200,000 Monthly.
