We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Sagamu, Ogun
Employment Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Identifying products and parts that are needed by the company.
• Researching and evaluating potential suppliers for quality, reliability, and pricing.
• Negotiating with suppliers to ensure the best price and quality are purchased.
• Keeping a stock record of parts and products in-store and sending daily reports.
• Monitoring and tracking orders to ensure timely delivery
• Managing relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery and compliance to terms of contracts
• Ensuring all procurement activities adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
• Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.
• Assessing, managing, and mitigating risks in the procurement process.
• Any other task assigned by management.
• Follow-up on purchase orders status and keep Management abreast with estimated time of delivery or any changes that may affect or modify the pre-determined delivery conditions;
• Ensure all expected merchandise is received in accordance with OEM specifications, and that all goods are in good condition.

Requirements

• B.Sc degree / HND qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or any related field.
• Proven experience as a procurement officer or related position with a minimum of 1-year experience.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques as well as dexterity in “reading” the market.
• Talent in negotiations and networking.
• Use of Microsoft Office
• Good knowledge of supplier or third-party management software.
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
• Experience in collecting and analyzing data.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Working Days

• Monday to Saturday

Salary
N70,000 Monthly.
