Job Summary
The Task Force Field Enforcement and Surveillance Lead will oversee and coordinate all field operations related to enforcement and surveillance activities. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing strategies to ensure the effective enforcement of regulations and the surveillance of targeted areas or subjects. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent coordination abilities, and expertise in law enforcement and surveillance techniques.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans for field enforcement and surveillance activities in alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of field agents, surveillance officers, and support staff, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day field operations, including patrols, surveillance missions, and enforcement actions, to ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures.
Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and threat analyses to identify potential security breaches or enforcement challenges, and develop mitigation strategies accordingly.
Training and Development: Provide training, guidance, and professional development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities in enforcement and surveillance techniques.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies, and law enforcement partners to coordinate joint operations, share intelligence, and maximize resources.
Technology Utilization: Utilize advanced surveillance technologies, including but not limited to CCTV, drones, and monitoring software, to enhance surveillance capabilities and gather actionable intelligence.
Data Analysis: Analyze field data, surveillance footage, and intelligence reports to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement in enforcement and surveillance strategies.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies governing field operations, and implement corrective measures as needed.
Reporting: Prepare regular reports and presentations on field activities, enforcement outcomes, surveillance findings, and operational performance for management review and decision-making.
Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for field operations, including resource allocation, procurement, and expenditure tracking, to ensure cost-effective operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (5-7years) in law enforcement, surveillance operations, or a related field, with a track record of progressively increasing responsibilities.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team in a dynamic environment.
Excellent knowledge of surveillance techniques, enforcement procedures
Must be a member of the task force
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure, make sound decisions, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Certification in relevant areas such as surveillance operations, tactical enforcement, or project management is desirable.
Physical fitness and ability to perform field duties in various environments and conditions.
