Job Summary
The Head of Car Park Ticketing will oversee all aspects of car park ticketing operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of parking facilities and revenue collection. This role requires strong leadership skills, expertise in parking management systems, and a keen focus on customer service and revenue optimization.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning: Develop strategic plans for car park ticketing operations to maximize revenue, optimize utilization, and enhance customer experience.
Team Leadership: Lead and supervise a team of ticketing staff, including supervisors, attendants, and administrative personnel, ensuring proper training, scheduling, and performance management.
Technology Management: Oversee the implementation and maintenance of parking management systems, including ticket dispensers, payment terminals, license plate recognition (LPR) systems, and mobile payment apps.
Revenue Management: Develop and implement pricing strategies, discount programs, and promotional campaigns to maximize revenue generation while balancing demand and occupancy levels.
Customer Service: Ensure high levels of customer service and satisfaction by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and implementing measures to enhance the overall parking experience.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing car park operations, including safety regulations, accessibility requirements, and data protection laws.
Financial Oversight: Prepare and manage budgets for car park operations, including revenue forecasting, expense tracking, and variance analysis, to ensure financial sustainability and profitability.
Data Analysis: Analyze parking data, transaction records, and customer feedback to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost reduction or revenue enhancement.
Security and Risk Management: Implement security measures and risk mitigation strategies to protect parking facilities, minimize theft and vandalism, and ensure the safety of customers and staff.
Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, external partners, and stakeholders, such as property managers, local authorities, and transportation agencies, to address operational issues, coordinate maintenance activities, and support community initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve ticketing processes, operational workflows, and technology solutions to optimize efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience (5years) in parking management, ticketing operations, or a related field, with a track record of leadership and achievement.
Strong understanding of parking management systems, revenue control methods, and industry best practices.
Excellent leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
Proficiency in the use of parking management software, financial systems, and data analysis tools.
Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of relevant regulations, including ADA requirements, zoning laws, and privacy regulations.
Certification in parking management, revenue control, or related areas is desirable.
Physical ability to perform duties associated with parking facility inspections and staff supervision.
