Job Description

• As the Content Producer/Writer at Popcentral, you will play a pivotal role in generating engaging content, assisting in content planning and strategy, and collaborating with various departments to ensure content meets quality standards and aligns with organizational objectives.
• This role requires a seasoned writer with experience in traditional media or digital platforms, along with a creative flair and a passion for storytelling.

Responsibilities

Content Creation: 

• Research, write, and edit compelling content for various platforms, including articles, blog posts, social media posts, video scripts, and more.

Content Planning:

• Assist in developing content calendars, brainstorming content ideas, and planning content strategies to meet audience engagement and traffic goals.

Source Material: 

• Stay informed about industry trends, news, and topics relevant to our audience. Source and curate content ideas from multiple channels, including news outlets, social media, and online forums.

Collaboration: 

• Work closely with the Digital Team for distribution, and other departments to ensure content is produced efficiently and effectively.

Quality Assurance: 

• Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, SEO-friendly, and aligned with brand guidelines.

Audience Engagement: 

• Monitor audience feedback, comments, and engagement metrics to optimize content performance and identify areas for improvement.

Project Management: 

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines consistently.

Content Optimization: 

• Implement SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization techniques to improve search visibility and organic traffic.

Performance Analysis: 

• Track and analyse content performance using analytics tools. Prepare reports and insights to evaluate content effectiveness and inform future content strategies.

Continuous Learning: 

• Stay updated on industry trends, content marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance content quality and relevance.

Requirements

• Proven track record of producing high-quality, engaging content for digital platforms. 
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and storytelling.
• Experience in content strategy development and audience engagement.
• Strong research skills and the ability to gather information from various sources.
• Proficiency in SEO, content management systems (CMS), and analytics tools.
• Familiarity with content management systems and social media platforms.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
