Job Description

• An HVAC technician will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in the hotel in other to ensure a well-maintained property to deliver an excellent Guest and Team Member experience.
• As an Engineering Team Member, you would also be called when needed to multitask in the other sections.

Responsibilities

As an HVAC technician, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: 

• Assist in the execution of planned preventive maintenance and break down maintenance and actively participate in the renovation projects.
• Visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of all air conditioning and refrigeration equipment in the hotel relating to chillers, air handling unit, fan coil unit, ventilation, exhaust system, freezers, cold rooms, refrigerators, ice machines and bar equipment.
• Perform equipment repairs and maintain parts inventory.
• Enter repairs on logbook and maintain parts inventory.
• Multitask in the other sections when called upon.
• Follows all safety rules and regulations in job, departmental procedures and instructions.
• Carries out all other tasks assigned to him by his supervisor.

Requirements

An HVAC Technician serving Hilton Brand hotels is always working on behalf of our Guests and working with other Team Members. To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

• Minimum 2 years air-conditioning or refrigeration installation or maintenance experience in Industrial / Commercial Projects
• Must have worked with commercial type of AHU for a period not less than 2 years.
• Must have in depth knowledge of central cooling system, cooling towers, fan coil, chill water pump and commercial type of cold rooms and freezers and extractors.
• Must be capable of working without supervision.

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

• Hotels-Hospitals experience
