Technology for Social Change and Development Initiative is a non-profit organization founded in 2016. Tech4Dev was established to empower African communities with digital skills that will bridge the gap of unskilled labour needed for the future of work.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Partnerships Engagement Associate

Location: Abuja
Job Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

• Develop partner networks and strategic partnerships globally
• Implement a partnership strategy to increase the reach and impact of Tech4Dev’s mission
• Conceptualize new strategic initiatives that could be built around or benefit from corporate organizations, foundations, government, bilateral organizations or other partnerships
• Expand and diversify the organization's funding base/pipeline and work closely with other team members to secure funding for new and old initiatives
• Facilitate strategic engagement with relevant International and National stakeholders on conservation and Tech4Dev related issues
• Supports the Executive Director in managing relations with the Board and all partners of Tech4Dev
• Facilitate internal and external communications and visibility as the organization spokesperson on partnerships issues
• Lead the ideation, preparation and delivery of tactical and strategic updates on strategic partnerships requested by the leadership team, board of directors and other priority donors
• Oversee and organize events that include, but are not limited to, partner socials, the annual meeting, and monthly prospect events
• Manage reporting and financial tracking of strategic partnership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a Partnerships and Sustainabilityrole or a related field
• Strong writing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent time-management skills
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills.
