Job Title: Store Executive

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our on-site stores.
• Your proactive approach will ensure that critical materials and equipment are readily available to support our operations while adhering to stringent safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase requisitions to Procurement Division as and when necessity for materials in stores arises.
• Receive purchased materials from the procurement division and confirm their quality and quantity with the purchase order.
• Prepare Goods Received Note in accordance with the items received
• Ensure that all the Goods Received Notes are regularly posted to the Bin Card
• Store and preserve materials at proper and convenient places so that items could be easily located.
• Issue materials to various divisions against material requisition slips duly authorized by the respective departmental heads.
• Ensure that all issued materials are properly authenticated and accounted for
• Store the materials in such a manner so as to minimise the occurrence of risks and to prevent losses due to defective storage handling
• Prevent the entry of unauthorized persons in the stores
• Maintain proper system of inventory control, taking up physical inventory of all items at periodical intervals and also to maintain proper records of inventory
• Provide full information about the availability of materials and goods

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, or related field
• 4+ years previous experience in store management is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of oilfield equipment, tools, and materials is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and computerized tracking systems.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
