Job Description

• We are seeking for a Company Driver who would also be in charge of Vehicle Maintenance

Job Responsibilities

• Safely transport company personnel and goods to designated locations in a timely manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure that all company vehicles are in good working condition.
• Conduct preventive maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs, including mileage logs, fuel consumption, and service history.
• Identify and report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance personnel promptly.
• Coordinate with the company's maintenance team or external service providers to schedule and complete necessary repairs and inspections.
• Keep company vehicles clean and organized both internally and externally.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods as required.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle operation and safety at all times.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with company personnel and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a company driver or similar role, with a strong focus on vehicle maintenance.
• Excellent knowledge of Abuja road networks and traffic regulations.
• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification or training in automotive mechanics.
• Experience driving a variety of vehicle types, including SUVs, vans, and trucks.
• Knowledge of vehicle tracking systems and GPS navigation devices.
• Previous experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.
