Job Overview

• We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team.
• As a Senior Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in defining, designing, and implementing cloud-based solutions that align with our business objectives and customer goals.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the successful delivery of solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities
Architecture Design:

• Develop and design cloud architecture solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
• Define cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and application architecture.

Technical Leadership:

• Provide leadership and technical expertise to guide cloud architecture decisions.
• Mentor and collaborate with a team of architects and engineers.

Cloud Strategy:

• Work with stakeholders to define the cloud strategy, aligning it with business goals and objectives.
• Assess the current state of cloud infrastructure and provide recommendations for improvements.

Solution Planning:

• Collaborate with project teams to plan and architect cloud solutions that leverage cloud-native services and technologies.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, highly available, cost-effective and generally align with the Well Architected Framework.

Security and Compliance:

• Implement security best practices and compliance standards in cloud solutions.
• Conduct security reviews and risk assessments for cloud architectures.

• Cloud Service Selection:

• Evaluate and select cloud services and technologies that best fit project requirements.
• Make recommendations for optimizing cost and performance.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitor and analyze cloud performance, identifying areas for optimization and resource utilization improvements.
• Implement strategies for enhancing the performance of cloud solutions.

Documentation:

• Create comprehensive architecture documentation, including architectural diagrams, design specifications, and best practices guidelines.
• Maintain architectural knowledge base.

Research and Innovation:

• Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends.
• Research and evaluate new cloud services and tools for potential adoption.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate cloud architecture concepts and decisions to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner.
• Collaborate with business leaders to align cloud solutions with business objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience as a Cloud Solutions Architect, with a proven track record in designing and implementing cloud solutions. At least 5 years.
• Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, or Azure Solutions Architect are highly desirable.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional is required.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services.
• Strong expertise in cloud security, compliance, and best practices.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IAC) and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Leadership experience. At least 3 years leading a technical team.
