We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Commodities Trader

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Execute trades in various commodities markets, including metals, energy, agriculture, and currencies.
• Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and geopolitical factors to inform trading decisions.
• Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profits while managing risks effectively.
• Monitor market volatility and adjust trading positions accordingly.
• Maintain relationships with counterparties, brokers, and other market participants.
• Stay informed about regulatory changes and compliance requirements relevant to commodities trading.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in commodities trading or a similar role.
• Proven track record of successful trading strategies and risk management.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Familiarity with commodities markets, including futures, options, and derivatives.
• Proficiency in trading platforms and financial software.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Excellent negotiation and decision-making abilities.
