Job Title: Graphics and Video Editing Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description

• We require the service of a Graphics and Video EditingOfficer in our Lagos Office at Ikeja.
• The ideal candiddate must be a current Youth Corps menber in Lagos.
• Corps members in need of place of primary assignment (PPA) should apply

Key Objectives

• Develop creative and innovative design, concepts, layouts, and visual assets for various projects that might includes logos, branding materials,social media graphics, website elements etc
• Utilize industry standard graphic design software such as Adobe Creative suite e.g photoshop, illustrator, Indesign or other relevant tools to create and edit designs
• Conduct research and gather inspiration from various sources to stay informed about design, trends, industry best practices and competitoranalysis
• Use the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic while receiving and incorporating feedback from team members to refine and improve designs.
• Edit and manipulate video footage to create visually engaging and cohesive videos for Youtube and other social media channels
• Understand the narative and objectives of the video content and develop a story telling approach through effective sequencing and editing techniques
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Work with copywriters and the creative director to produce the Final design

Job Requirements

• Proficency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suit e.g photoshop, illustrator, Indesign and video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final cut Pro, or other relevant tools
• Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, layout composition and video editing techniques
• Creative thinking and the ability to translate concepts into visually appealing designs and engaging videos
• Attention to details and a strong eye for aesthetics
• Ability to manage multiple tasks related to designing simultaneously and meet dealines
• Adaptability and willingness to incorporate feedback and make revisions as needed
• Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects and audio editing is a plus
