Job Title: Hatchery Manager & Breeder

Location: Iwo, Osun
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate breeder operations to ensure the delivery of quality products.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the farm, including animal husbandry and staff management.
• Ensure adherence to industry regulations on sanitation, vaccinations, and other standards.
• Plan and develop hatch schedules considering market forecasts and customer orders.
• Supervise employees to ensure all breeder and hatchery standards are met.
• Manage the sale and shipment of eggs and chicks.
• Implement an effective quality assurance program.
• Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain a reasonable budget for both breeder and hatchery operations.
• Stay updated on industry knowledge and new trends.
• Communicate effectively with farmers on feeding and breeding practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture (Animal Production / Poultry Science) or related fields.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience in poultry breeder operational management.
• Minimum of 5 years' supervisory/management experience within a similar environment.
• Proficiency in English communication.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and under time constraints.
• Familiarity with poultry management best practices and industry regulations.

Salary
N500,000 - N600,000 Monthly.
