Job Description

• As an Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial and operational processes for our clients.
• You will work closely with a diverse portfolio of organisations, gaining valuable insights into various industries and business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Audits: Perform financial, operational, and compliance audits for clients, adhering to auditing standards and practices.
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide recommendations to enhance processes and mitigate potential issues.
• Financial Statements: Examine and verify financial statements, reports, and records to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Audit Planning: Participate in the development of audit plans, including scope, objectives, and methodologies.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed work-papers, audit reports, and supporting documents for all audit activities.
• Client Engagement: Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and providing guidance on audit-related matters.
• Compliance: Ensure audits adhere to industry regulations, accounting principles, and legal requirements.
• Report Findings: Prepare clear and concise audit reports that highlight findings, recommendations, and actionable insights.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with audit teams and colleagues to share knowledge, insights, and best practices.
• Continuous Learning: Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and auditing standards to provide the best possible service to clients.
• Client Education: Assist clients in understanding and implementing recommendations for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• ICAN, ACCA chartered is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant auditing experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, audit methodologies, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
