Job Title: Waitress

Job Summary

• We are seeking friendly, attentive, and experienced Waitresses to join our team.
• As a Waitress, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a positive dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and take food and drink orders
• Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner
• Ensure accurate and prompt delivery of orders
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area
• Provide exceptional customer service and respond to guest complaints in a professional manner
• Manage cash and credit transactions accurately
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure efficient service
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Make recommendations and upsell menu items to guests
• Assist with hosting and seating guests as needed
• Perform side work duties, such as refilling condiments and restocking supplies.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND qualification with 1+ years relevant work experience.
• 1 year of experience as a Waitress or in a related role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
• Basic math skills and accuracy with cash handling
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparation and presentation
• Familiarity with point-of-sale system
• Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a restaurant or lounge environment is a plus
• Knowledge of wine and cocktail menus
• Multilingual skills is a plus.
