Job Title: Head, Educational Content

Overview

• As the Head of Educational Content, you will be responsible for creatively directing educational content, collaborating with publishers, and spearheading the transformation of traditional learning materials into engaging digital content.

Responsibilities

• Strategically lead the development and execution of educational content initiatives to meet the company's objectives.
• Collaborate closely with teachers to understand educational needs and develop content that addresses learning gaps effectively.
• Liaise with publishers to acquire relevant educational materials and transform them into captivating digital content.
• Actively participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for educational content creation.
• Oversee the scriptwriting process, ensuring content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with educational standards.
• Direct the production of educational content, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
• Conduct regular quality assessments of educational content to maintain high standards of excellence.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in educational content creation to continually enhance offerings.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Represent the company at educational conferences, workshops, and other relevant events to build networks and stay connected with industry professionals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (Education, Communications, Media Studies, etc.), Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in EdTech content development
• Strong writing and project management skills
• Experience collaborating with educational stakeholders
• Creativity, passion for innovation, and storytelling ability
• Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in digital content creation tools
• Understanding of curriculum standards.
• Candidates between the ages of 30 - 40 will be considered.

Remuneration
N350,000- N500,000 Gross per month.
