Job Title: Digital Marketing Executive

Job Summary

• As a result of our recent growth of transitioning into ecommerce sales , we are now searching for a brilliant Digital Marketing Executive to join our team to support and assist with our growth.
• We are seeking a person with a ‘can do’ hands on approach, someone willing to roll their sleeves up and get the job done. To be a real star and thrive in this role, you’ll need to have bags of initiative, be highly organised and possess the ability to think on your feet.

Requirements
Strategy and Campaigns:

• A large percentage of your time will involve working closely with the CEO creating digital marketing strategies. Your role will encompass digital marketing platforms, including but not limited to, Website ,Instagram,Facebook,Thrends . Whatsappand Email Marketing.
• You will be responsible for creating and managing digital marketing campaigns around key events such as Christmas, Black Friday, Easter, Seasonal Sales, Events and Product Launches.
• In addition you will be responsible for generating traffic and leads through Google Ads and effective PPC campaigns.

Website Management / Traffic:

• You will need to be familiar and proficient with Wordpress.
• You will be responsible for generating traffic and leads through Google Ads and effective PPC campaigns to our website
• Responsibility for maintaining and updating the company’s website for both mobile and desktop will sit with you. You will need to ensure our website is consistently updated with stock and prices
• You will need to take up ownership of updating our website’s content and imagery particularly with the most relevant keywords, meta descriptions and alt tags etc for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) purposes.

In addition to the above, on a daily basis your role will involve:

• Create campaigns
• Content creation
• Style images and pictures
• Create product videos

Skills and Experience

Therefore in order to meet all of the above requirements, we are looking for a bright, energetic individual with bags of enthusiasm, initiative and drive. The opportunities for the right individual are plentiful as the business grows.

The type of person we are looking for will need to be:

• Experienced with B2C and B2B marketing
• Highly organised, it’s a busy environment so you’ll need to be able to manage processes for both yourself and the CEO
• Strong desire to learn and research. You will be left to your own devices for much of the time, so you will need to fill in any knowledge gaps through self-learning and training.
• Fully conversant with Social Media platforms in the context of a Product business environment is very important
• Experience with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp would be a distinct advantage
• Video creation and editing experience would be a huge bonus
• Creative and Resourceful - If you possess design skills this would be a distinct advantage such as Canva, Indesign, Powerpoint or Photoshop
• Excellent copywriting skills
• You will need to be able to multi-task effectively
• Highly presentable with good communication skills
• Self Starter - You will often be given autonomy to manage your own tasks, so you’ll need to be hands-on and roll your sleeves up.
• Ability to take ownership of tasks and projects and to see them through to conclusion
• Meticulous, must have an eye for detail and accuracy
• Excellent oral and written communication, with the ability to tailor the style to the audience or environment
• Previous experience as a Digital Marketing Executive
• 2+ years minimum relevant experience
• Min required education - BSc or HND in Marketing, Mass Communication, or Business related
