Job Title: Sales Executive

Location: Iddo, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • As a Sales Executive in the maritime industry, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating relationships with prospective clients, and promoting our company's services. Leveraging your sales expertise and industry knowledge, you will play a key role in expanding our customer base and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and research potential clients and market segments within the maritime industry, including importers, exporters, freight forwarders, and shipping companies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, understanding their needs, challenges, and objectives, and positioning our services as solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics to generate leads, nurture prospects, and close deals, utilizing a consultative and solution-oriented approach.
  • Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations, articulating the value proposition of our services and addressing client concerns.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations, marketing, and customer service, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, contracts, and other documentation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Track and report on sales activities, pipeline development, and performance metrics, providing regular updates to management.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape, and use this knowledge to inform sales strategies and positioning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in the maritime industry or related sectors.
  • Deep understanding of maritime logistics, import/export processes, and shipping industry dynamics.
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools

Salary
N150,000 - N300,000 monthly.
