Job Title: Tool Room Mechanic

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance and repairs on tools and machinery in the tool room.
• Inspect tools for any signs of wear and tear and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and develop solutions to fix them.
• Clean and sanitize tools and machinery to prevent contamination and ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on tools and machinery.
• Collaborate with other team members to provide maintenance support as needed.
• Conduct regular safety inspections to identify any potential hazards and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks.

Requirements

• Minimum HND / Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.
• A minimum of 5-8 years’ work experience on mold repairs in an Indian company.
• Should be good at least one trade in tool room—Lathe machine, Milling or welding.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their components.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
