Job Description

• As the Chief Executive Officer, you'll be at the helm of the ambitious journey, setting strategic direction and inspiring teams to achieve greatness.
• Our client is on the lookout for a visionary Chief Executive Officer to lead their team and chart a course for innovation and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and set the strategic direction of the bank, ensuring alignment with its mission, vision, and core values.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, regulators, customers, and employees, to foster trust and support for the bank's objectives.
• Oversee the financial health of the bank, including budgeting, financial planning, risk management, and ensuring sustainable profitability.
• Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets for expansion, driving growth and diversification of the company's revenue streams.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, as well as ethical standards, promoting transparency, accountability, and good corporate governance practices.
• Make informed and strategic decisions based on thorough analysis, market trends, and input from key stakeholders, balancing short-term objectives with long-term sustainability.
• Monitor and evaluate the bank's performance against established goals and benchmarks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Lead the bank through times of crisis or uncertainty, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and effective communication to mitigate risks and maintain stakeholder confidence.
• Act as the primary spokesperson and ambassador for the company, representing its interests in public forums, industry events, and media engagements, and advocating for its mission and values.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field of studyis required.
• A Master's degree is preferred.

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

• Minimum of 15 years cognate experience in any reputable financial institution with proven track records of achievement, with at least 5 years at managerial position/s of a reputable financial institution.
• Proven track record of effective leadership is paramount with the ability to inspire, motivate, and guide teams towards common goals is essential.
• Comprehensive understanding of financial markets, banking regulations, and the mortgage industry.
• Capacity to formulate and execute long-term strategies is vital.
• Proficiency in identifying and managing risks associated with mortgage banking operations is crucial.
• Thorough knowledge of banking regulations, particularly those specific to mortgage lending, is essential.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are imperative.
• Prioritising customer satisfaction and building lasting relationships with clients is key.
• Embracing innovation and technological advancements is critical in today's mortgage banking landscape.
• The ability to adapt to changing market conditions and industry disruptions is essential.
• Upholding the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct is non-negotiable.
