Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement media support strategies to enhance communication within the energy, oil, and gas industry.
• Create engaging multimedia content, including videos, infographics, and presentations, to support internal and external communication initiatives.
• Coordinate media outreach efforts, including press releases, media briefings, and interviews with industry experts.
• Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities for proactive communication and reputation management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all media channels.
• Manage media inquiries and provide timely responses to media requests.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of media support initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.

Key Deliverables

• Regularly produce high-quality multimedia content for internal and external use.
• Maintain a positive media presence for the company through proactive outreach and engagement.
• Monitor and analyse media coverage to assess the impact of communication strategies.
• Develop reports and presentations to communicate key findings and recommendations to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
• Proven experience in media relations, communications, or public relations within the energy, oil, and gas industry.
• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with an ability to tailor messages for different audiences and media platforms.
• Proficiency in multimedia content creation tools and software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
• Experience managing media campaigns, press events, and crisis communications.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations, trends, and best practices in media relations and communication strategies.

Salary
N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
