We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Business Development Executive

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized proposals and presentations for potential clients.
  • Drive the sales process from lead generation to closing, negotiating contracts and terms as necessary.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify areas for growth and development.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to meet and exceed sales targets and objectives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts to senior management.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and initiatives, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or related roles, with a minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with the ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients and colleagues.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach to achieving targets and objectives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend events.
