Job Summary

• In a bid to expand our software development and production processes, xPlug Technologies limited hereby welcomes application for the role of C# & ASP.Net Software Developer (Intern).
• We are currently recruiting software prefessionals who have stuffs to offer and willing to further improve their skills.

• Successfuly applicants would be enrolled into our 2 weeks bootcamp programme (training) to equip them with necessary foundational knowledge for develop software effectively.
• Trainned applicants would then be tested again after the training and only successful applicants would be integrated into the internship programme.

Job Description
Following are the conditions for this job role:

• This is an intern programme for C# & ASP.Net Software Developer
• Applicants would be tested before enrolment into our internship programme
• Internship is for a minimum of 1 year. Successful interns whallbe integrated into our core delivery team
• This is a paid internship programme. However, remuneration depends on the level of knowledge and skills already acquired in the field.
• Successful applicants would be deployed into our several project teams.
• Successful applicants would be exposed to several software development and delivery methodologies, equipping them with processes of building and assuring scalable applications using latest and robust technologies as platform for delivery.
• Youth Corpers (NYSC) may apply for this role but must be posted to serve with us.
• This is a startup job role as a software engineer (intern). Intermediate / working knowledge of the following development tool / technology is highly required: HTML, CSS, Javascript and React
• Successful applicant will work under hybrid conditions: training / skills acquisition to enhance technical capacities / competences; and to deliver software products as a junior engineer. Basically you would be responsible for front-end development, systems integration and testing.
• Suucessful applicants would be exposed to several software development methodologies and building scalable applications using latest and robust technologies as platform for delivery.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Transform software designs and specifications into high functioning code in the appropriate language.
• Work closely with analysts, designers and other staff on software projects.
• Implement standard designs, architecture and security development.
• Learn emerging and new technologies and adopt future-proof technology.
• Prompt response to requests on product development activities.
• Prompt resolution and management of issues with clients.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates should possess an OND, HND, B.Sc or related qualification
• At least 1 year experience with front end tools/skills (HTML, CSS,JS) and front end development.
• Good understanding of programming concepts OOP, Agile development, and Rest API Services.

Experience:

• 1-5 +-years Experience developing with C# & ASP.Net Core.
• Good understanding of programming concepts such as OOP, Agile development, and Rest API Services.

Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge of coding using C#,ASP.NET Core,ASP.NET Core MVC & Razor
• Good knowledge of Web API/REST API Service integration
• Good knowledge of web technologies such as Razor, HTML, CSS and Javascript
• Basic knowledge of software design and development in a test-driven environment
• Good understanding and use of code repositories and versioning system.
• Mobile Application development in native language. (added advantage)
