Job Title: Buyer - IT & Mobiles

Job Description

• We are seeking to hire a Category buyer – IT & Mobiles who would be responsible for marketing and sales of our IT and mobile products to develop promotion and campaigns to drive sales and maximize profitability.

Duties

• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new IT & mobile products and trends.
• Negotiate and secure favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
• Manage inventory levels for the mobile & IT category across all retail stores.
• Should have excellent knowledge & trend for mention brand IT & MOBILE category range .. HP, LENOVO, ASUS, ACER, CANON, INFINIX, SAMSUNG, Mi, TECHNO, SONY GAMING, etc Range of Products
• Assess quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management.
• Periodic reconciliation for supplier ageing
• Coordinating with brands & vendors to Organize timely product training for all sales staff.
• Handle bulk enquiries from sales team and provide best possible deals for business.
• Managing & escalating after sales support with vendors and brands after sales team
• Coordinating with brands & graphics team to ensure the Buying vs Cataloging vs Listing are in line with product USP, Features & Real time images for E-commerce.
• MIS & Reports

Competencies

• HND / B.Sc in Marketing or any related field.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience as Mobile & IT - Category buyer / Procurement Officer.
• Strong Marketing skills
• Preferred candidates from JUMIA, KONGA, SLOT, POINTEK, SPAR, MICRO STATION, RUFEGEO. Etc.
