Industrial Training Fund (ITF) - NECA / ISTC Industrial Skill Training Centre Technical and Vocational Skills Training

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers' Consultative Association (NECA) in collaboration with Industrial Skill Training Centre (ISTC), Lagos invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and potential learning for:

Title: Technical and Vocational Skills Training

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Duration: 6 Months

Objectives

• This programme is aimed at training and equipping youths with employable and entrepreneurial skills in the trade areas mentioned above.
• It is also designed to promote Public-Private partnership in Vocational and Technical Skills Training.

Requirements
Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and required to possess any one of the following qualifications:

• Senior Secondary School Certificate
• National Technical Certificate in any of the above trade areas
• National Diploma Certificate
• Higher National Diploma or B.Sc

Programmes

• Applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potentials to undertake a 6-month intensive training in the following trade areas: Electrical/Electronic Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance and Machining, Automobile/Autotronics Works, Instrumentation and Process Control, Welding and Metal Fabrication Works, Information and Communication Technology
• Successful candidates will enjoy FREE tuition, lunch and monthly stipend.
• The programme is non-residential. Candidates will therefore be responsible for their accommodation throughout the duration of the programme.

Test and Interview

• Test Date: Thursday 13th June, 2024.
• Interview Date: Friday; 14th June, 2024
• Time: 9:00am Prompt
• Venue: Industrial Skills Training Centre, Ikeja 5, Olorunfunmi Street (Behind Philips) Off Kudirat Abiola Way, Oregun, Lagos State.

Entrance Examination

• Candidates are expected to write an entry test. Only successful candidates after the test will be invited for interview.
• All shortlisted candidates will be required to come with the originals of their certificates and means of identification to the venue of test and interview.
