Job Title: Truck Spare Part Salesman

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The truck spare parts salesman is responsible for selling replacement parts for trucks to customers, including fleet managers, mechanics, and trucking companies.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to identify their spare parts needs and recommend appropriate products
• Maintain knowledge of current products, pricing, and availability
• Prepare and present sales proposals to potential customers
• Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional sales opportunities
• Collaborate with other sales team members and support staff to achieve sales goals
• Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the business
• Costing of parts and invoices

Qualifications

• Experience in the trucking industry and knowledge of truck spare parts
• Strong sales and customer service skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Strong analytical skills and ability to do costings of parts and invoices
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel to customer's location as needed.
• A diploma or degree in sales, marketing or business administration is an added advantage
• The deisred candidates should have experience in the sales of SMT/Volvo vehicles.
