ITF-NECA Technical Skills Development Project / Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Centre for Excellence Technical Skills Training Programme

The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Centre for Excellence, Jos, Plateau State was established by the management of the Industrial Training Fund in 1992 to provide up-to-date training and development for staff and non-staff of the Fund to meet the ever-changing demands of group and individual work place and desk functions.

In its ten years of experience, the Centre has trained over three thousand (3,000) members of staff in various fields of endeavor. The Centre has a new mandate to reach external clientele in the field of work. As an apex training institution, they design and deliver tailor-made programmes on request to meet clients' identified training assessment.

Applications are invited for:

Title: Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Technical Skills Training Programme

Location: Jos, Plateau
Duration: 3 months

Objectives
The programme aims at:

• Building and developing trainees' capacity in ICT for self-employment or gainful employment.
• Developing trainees' and equipping them with required entrepreneurial skills to enable them start and grow their own businesses.
• Building a crop of Nigerian Youths with in- depth knowledge in business plan development, cash flow preparation and business analysis for sustainable growth.

Objectives

• Introduce trainees to the basic skills and techniques of photography and videography.
• Enable trainees to learn the art of taking good pictures and quality film making.
• Equip trainees to become professional photographers and videographers.
• Empower Nigerian youths to become self-reliant through the use of photography and videography as a source of livelihood. Develop local capacity in photography /videography, so as to increase productivity and national competitiveness.

Programme

• The Programme is non-residential. Candidates, will therefore, be responsible for their accommodation and transportation throughout the duration of the programme. Successful candidates will enjoy FREE tuition fee; Stipend, Lunch and they will be awarded a certificate upon successful completion of the programme.

Requirements

• Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and are required to possess a minimum of the following qualifications:
• Secondary School Certificate Examination (WAEC, NECO or NABTEB). OND, ND, NCE, HND, B.Sc etc.

Entrance Examination
Selected candidates will be contacted to come for a test. Candidates should bring along the following:

• One (1) recent passport photograph
• Original Birth Certificate
• Original Educational Qualification Certificate (s)
• Original and photocopy of National ID /
• Voter's Card or International Passport.
