Overview

• We are in search of a seasoned and highly skilled Frontend Developer to lead our frontend development efforts.
• The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience and a proven track record of delivering high-quality frontend solutions.
• You will play a pivotal role in architecting, designing, and implementing cutting-edge user interfaces that elevate our web applications to the next level.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with design and backend teams to translate UI/UX wireframes into responsive and visually appealing web applications.
• Architect and implement complex frontend solutions using the latest HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) to meet project requirements and business objectives.
• Optimize web applications for performance, speed, and scalability, ensuring an exceptional user experience across various devices and browsers.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, implement best practices, and ensure code quality and consistency throughout the development lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of emerging frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and contribute to project planning and execution.
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend-related issues, working closely with QA teams to identify and resolve bugs in a timely manner.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance frontend development processes, tools, and workflows for greater efficiency and productivity.
• Document frontend architecture, codebase, and development processes to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintain codebase integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Maximum of at least two years of post-NYSC experience.
• Proven expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with a strong command of frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Extensive experience in designing and developing responsive web applications with a focus on user-centric design principles.
• Deep understanding of web performance optimization techniques and tools to ensure fast and efficient web experiences.
• Strong proficiency in version control systems (e.g., Git) and code collaboration platforms (e.g., GitHub).
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality frontend solutions.
• Outstanding communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to effectively mentor and collaborate with team members.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is highly desirable.
