Job Title: Supermarket Assistant Manager

Job Description

• We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to help with the management of our supermarket by ensuring that the store is properly stocked with products and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking, manage the supermarket's budget, including monitoring expenses and minimizing waste, develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase profitability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the overseeing of the day-to-day operations of the supermarket
• Aiming for sales maximization; ensuring an efficient goods flow, an accurate cash management, and an accurate store administration.
• Manage, control, and direct the retail store and continuously improve on functionality and service level in order to achieve our customers' experience goals.
• Ensuring that store operations comply with the company policies and procedures.
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure that the store is running smoothly.
• Be proactive and ensure that best practices in the store.
• Supervise the maintenance of the working environment ensuring health and safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Assistant Manager in a supermarket
• In-depth knowledge of inventory controls & management
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to manage other staffers in the supermarket

Education

• Preferably a Graduate.
