Job Title: Sales and Business Lead

Location: Lagos (Remote)

Job Description

  • We are now seeking a highly motivated and capable Sales & Business Lead to join our team.
  • This individual will play a pivotal role in driving sales, leading our business towards growth and expansion, and ultimately contributing to our vision of making global education and career opportunities accessible to all.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Identify new business opportunities and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the education and recruitment sectors.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Create and present compelling sales pitches and proposals to prospective clients and partners.

Business Development:

  • Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to expand our market presence and enhance brand awareness.
  • Identify and pursue new business ventures, partnerships, and collaborations that align with our mission and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential areas for growth.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals with educational institutions, corporate clients, and other partners.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective marketing campaigns that drive lead generation and conversion.

Operational Leadership:

  • Oversee daily business operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in all activities.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to achieve business goals.
  • Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and accountability within the team.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing any issues or concerns promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance client retention and loyalty.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, business development, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
