Job Description

• Are you a skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager with a passion for keeping heavy machinery running at peak performance?
• Our leading Quarry company in Ebonyi State is searching for a top-notch Maintenance Manager to join our growing team. In this crucial role, you will oversee the maintenance of all our heavy-duty equipment, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.

What will you be doing?

• Develop and implement comprehensive preventative maintenance programs for our entire equipment fleet, including crushers, loaders, haul trucks, and drills.
• Supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing training and mentorship.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment problems, ensuring timely repairs and minimizing downtime.
• Manage spare parts inventory and maintain strong relationships with equipment vendors.
• Oversee maintenance budgets and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Implement and maintain a safe and efficient work environment for the maintenance team.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in quarry equipment maintenance.

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in quarry equipment maintenance, with a proven track record of success in managing a team and maintaining a high level of equipment uptime.
• In-depth knowledge of various heavy-duty machinery and earthmoving equipment used in the quarry industry, including crushers, loaders, haul trucks, drills, and associated support equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a team of technicians.
• Proficiency in maintenance management software (a plus).
• A commitment to safety and a proven ability to maintain a safe work environment.
