Job Title: Medical Doctor (Intern)

Location: Lagos

Position Overview

• We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Doctor (Intern) to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maternal and child healthcare, contribute to impactful projects, and work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation and management of HelpMum's vaccination programs.
• Provide medical support and guidance to nursing mothers registered on our vaccination tracker and chatbot.
• Conduct health education sessions for nursing mothers on various aspects of child health and immunization.
• Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of health data for program evaluation and improvement.
• Assist in developing and reviewing content for health education materials and communication platforms.
• Work with the tech team to provide insights for improving digital tools and services.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Provisional registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
• Strong interest in maternal and child health, public health, and community medicine.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to travel to various communities as required.
