Job Title: Junior Phyto-Therapist

Job Summary

• Our client in the Pharmaceutical/Cosmetics industry, is looking to hire a knowledgeable Phyto-therapist to join their healthcare team.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and preventing illnesses using plant-based remedies and therapies.
• The Phyto-therapist will work with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote holistic health and well-being.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of plant remedies to prescribe medicines appropriate for the treatment of a wide range of illnesses, to assist the body's healing properties
• Create applications to promote health, relieve Illness and using a holistic approach to formulate products
• Address the needs of Clients/customers by working at a physical, physiological, and emotional level, exploring the underlying causes as well as the symptoms of illness either via calls or person, referring clients/customers, to other health practitioners where appropriate.
• Growing, preparing, and producing herbal medicines/products and using the whole plant for the Human Body's healing Capacities.
• Teaching and supporting trainee Phyto-therapists.
• Keeping up to date with new research.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Phyto-therapist
• Bachelor's Degree in Phytotherapy, Herbal Medicine, Naturopathy, or a related field.
• Knowledge of modern herbal medicine combining with traditional herbal philosophy and knowledge with modern medical understanding.
• Relevant certification or licensure in phytotherapy or herbal medicine is a plus.

• Proven work experience as a Phyto-therapist
• MS Office and English proficiency
