We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pharmacist

Location: Ughelli, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing expert advice on drug therapies, and ensuring the safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide patients with information on how to take medications, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs.
  • Review and interpret physician orders and prescriptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of medications and patient profiles.
  • Advise healthcare professionals on drug indications, dosage, and interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Manage inventory and order pharmaceutical supplies.
  • Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, and the proper use of medications.
  • Conduct medication therapy management and participate in patient care plans.
  • Stay updated with new pharmaceutical developments and integrate them into practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited institution.
  • 1 - 3 years work experience.
  • Valid pharmacist license to practice.
  • Proven experience as a Pharmacist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and pharmaceutical law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in medication dispensing.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
  • Candidate must be a resident of Ughelli & it’s environs.

Remuneration
Salary in line with industry standard
