Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Location: Ughelli, Delta

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
• The successful candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Receive and verify prescription orders from healthcare providers.
• Measure, count, and label medications accurately.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking pharmaceutical supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of medications and patient information.
• Provide patients with information on medication usage, storage, and potential side effects.
• Handle insurance claims and process payments.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
• Perform routine tasks such as maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician certification from an accredited program.
• Valid pharmacy technician license to practice.
• Proven experience of 1-3 years as a Pharmacy Technician
• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical and medication management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft suite package
• Candidate must be a resident of Ughelli & it’s environs.

Remuneration
Salary in line with industry standard.
