Job Description

• Afrihealth is seeking an exceptional Product Lead to lead the charge for our innovative product, Rigour+. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Product Manager to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have a passion for developing innovative products that improve patient outcomes and streamline healthcare processes.
• This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to define the product roadmap, prioritize features, and drive the successful delivery of our health technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and strategy for our health tech products, in alignment with company goals and market needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize product requirements, and translate them into user stories and product specifications
• Work closely with the development team to ensure the timely and successful delivery of product features and enhancements
• Conduct market research and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement
• Monitor key performance indicators and user feedback to continuously iterate and enhance the product offering
• Drive the go-to-market strategy for new product releases, including developing marketing collateral and supporting sales efforts
• Serve as a subject matter expert for the health tech products, providing guidance and support to internal teams and external customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, sales, and marketing, to ensure alignment and successful product delivery
• Lead and mentor junior product team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence

Requirements

• 4 to 10 years of experience as a Product Manager within a tech-focused environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging new age tools, including AI, for successful product launches and improvements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and prioritize efficiency.
• Experience in a fast-paced startup is highly desirable.
• Background in the health industry is a plus but not essential.
