We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Wuse, Abuja ( FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and budgets
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with management to analyze financial performance and make strategic decisions
• Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff
• Manage financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Prepare and review financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field (e.g. Finance, Business Administration)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a healthcare or medical diagnostics setting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, laws, and regulations (e.g. GAAP, IFRS)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Experience with financial software and systems
• Knowledge of medical billing and insurance reimbursement procedures
