Our technology infrastructure would enable Nigerian businesses receive money from customers that want to pay for goods & services digitally.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Operations Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • An Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of an organization, ensuring that business processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • This role involves managing resources, coordinating with various departments, optimizing operational procedures, and implementing strategies to improve productivity and profitability.

Responsibilities
Operational Oversight:

  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of business processes.
  • Monitor and analyze operational performance metrics.

Resource Management:

  • Allocate and manage resources (personnel, equipment, budget) effectively.
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve operational goals.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and supervise a team of operational staff.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify areas for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compliance and Safety:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, health, and safety standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain compliance.

Project Management:

  • Plan and execute operational projects within budget and timelines.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure project success.

Vendor and Supplier Management:

  • Manage relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure favorable terms.

Budget Management:

  • Prepare and manage operational budgets.
  • Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures.

Requirements
Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (mandatory).
  • HND in Operations Management certification in Project management (added advantage).

Experience:

  • Proven experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar role (mandatory).
  • Experience in managing operational processes and teams.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, resource allocation, and project management.
  • Experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) (preferred).

Skills

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in operational management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
