Job Title: CNG Operator

Job Description

• The CNG Operator is responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, and safety of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling stations. This role ensures the efficient and reliable supply of CNG to vehicles and equipment, adheres to safety standards, and performs routine inspections and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
Operation and Monitoring:

• Operate and monitor CNG equipment, including compressors, dispensers, storage systems, and associated control systems.
• Ensure the continuous and safe supply of CNG to customers and internal fleets.
• Monitor pressure levels, temperatures, and other critical parameters to maintain optimal operation.

Maintenance and Repair:

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on CNG equipment and infrastructure.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Coordinate with external service providers for major repairs and maintenance as needed.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety checks and emergency response drills.
• Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to CNG operations.

Customer Service:

• Provide assistance and support to customers using the CNG fueling stations.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to CNG fueling.
• Educate customers on the proper use of CNG equipment and safety protocols.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed logs of operational activities, maintenance tasks, and equipment performance.
• Prepare and submit regular reports on CNG station performance, including fuel usage, maintenance activities, and incidents.
• Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for CNG operations.

Qualifications

• Ond, HND or BSc; technical training or certification in a related field preferred.
• Previous experience in CNG operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems related to CNG equipment.

Skills:

• Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

• Machine Operation and Maintenance
• Periodic Data collection from NGMC Dispenser
• Log-Sheet Updating
• Operational communication within the group
• SKID Dispatch / Truck follow-up.

Salary
N150,000 - N300,000 per month.
