We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Process Operator

Location: Ogun
Job Type: Full-time

Pupose of the Job

• To operate and maintain the boilers and related equipment optimally while ensuring steady uninterrupted % of heat supply at the right quality.

The Job

• Carryout daily checks on all machineries in the boiler house as authorized.
• Ensure the feed mechanism of the boiler conform to norms otherwise, escalate accordingly.
• Ensure smooth and efficient running of the boiler plant and equipment.
• Check all valves and joints for leakages periodically.
• Carry out regular cleaning of Boiler house and environment.
• Maintain safe work environment and conform to safety rules and regulations.
• Carry out assigned maintenance work as per work instruction.
• Assist maintenance team routine/breakdown maintenance as at required.
• Ensure compliance with FSMS requirements in the assigned work process.

Qualifications

• 5 O’ level credits including Mathematics & English in not more than 2 sittings/NABTEB.
• OND in Pure & Applied Science, Physical Sciences or any other related discipline will be an added advantage.

Experience:

• 2 years’ cognate experience
• Thermal boiler experience.

The Person Must:

• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to analyze complex problems, accurately identifying root causes and developing effective solutions to prevent recurrences.
• Skilled in identifying and resolving pump malfunctions, quickly diagnosing and repairing issues to minimize downtime.
• Proficient in the safe and efficient operation of thermal boilers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
