We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Data Entry and Annotation Specialist

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Job Description

• This role will be responsible for classifying and becoming a subject matter expert on data labelling.

Responsibilities

• Input collected data into company systems
• Generate reports as required by the department in accordance with outlined standards
• Maintain confidentiality of all information
• Confirm, corroborate, and remove unnecessary data, or combine data from several sources
• Work collaboratively with others in the department
• Meet productivity metrics as assigned by the department
• Other job-related duties as assigned
• Automated labelling or annotation tools for video sequence
• Will report to Project Supervisor

Background & Qualifications
In order to be successful, you will need the following:

• OND, HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or other related fields
• Technical skills (Front end development, UI, Google Apps Suite; sheets, docs, slides etc.)
• Strong English and reading comprehension
• Problem-solving nature and strong attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Driven, reliable, self-motivated & emotionally intelligent
• Experience with Python, image processing/machine learning software is a huge plus
• Experience with JavaScript, Typescript, Django, or similar software is desirable
• Analytical nature, measurement, and results-oriented and able to work well within and across teams.
