Job Description

• Our client is currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team and ensure the smooth handling of all financial transactions.
• As a Cashier at Vima Hospital, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions with patients and visitors, handling billing inquiries, and providing excellent customer service.
• Your role is vital in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and processing refunds.
• Manage patient billing inquiries and provide assistance with payment options and insurance claims.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Assist with financial reports and audits as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address patient and visitor inquiries in a courteous manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate billing and payment processing.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with hospital policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in using cash registers, POS systems, and basic accounting software.
• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanour.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
